They explore the capability of light\u00a0with OAM to induce phases in some coupling amplitudes, which are equivalent to a net \u03c0 flux\u00a0through the plaquettes and, give rise to a topologically non-trivial band structure, topologically\u00a0protected states and Aharanov-Bohm caging. They also employ discrete Supersymmetry to\u00a0design a partner system with a modified geometry but sharing the same spectrum of\u00a0eigenvalues except one, that it is eliminated.
