Miguel Ángel García Porras, researcher from the Complex Systems Group at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, visited the Laser Applications and Photonics Group at Universidad de Salamanca from May 2nd to May 4th, 2024. The main purpose of this visit was to collaborate on a joint project focusing on the study of high-frequency spatiotemporal vortices. During these days, intensive work sessions were conducted where knowledge was exchanged and experiments were designed to advance the understanding and application of these complex physical phenomena. The collaboration between both institutions promises to make significant contributions to the field of nonlinear optics and singular light structures, exploring new possibilities for future applications in advanced optical technologies.
